3 DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATIONS The dangerous goods regulations is designed to equip people in the transportation industry with the knowledge of how to transport dangerous goods safely, with reference to IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation manual. This is a DCA regulated program. METHODOLOGY This program includes classroom lectures, group discussions, video shows, case study and group presentations and other activities to provide high impact learning. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES At the end of this program, participants will be able to identify and classify the nine classes, pack, mark and label DG correctly, prepare the necessary documentation and apply the country and airline regulations accordingly PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Explain the basis of the Regulations Outline Shippers and Operators responsibility and training requirements Ascertain that certain Dangerous Goods are forbidden and some are restricted for air transport Apply the State and Operator variations Identify the 9 classes of dangerous goods and apply the principles of packing groups Outline the method used by Shippers to classify dangerous goods Identify the class and quantity limit per package of dangerous goods Apply the packing requirements Mark and label packages Complete the Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods and the Airwaybill Accept, handle and load dangerous goods Apply the general emergency procedures in the event of a dangerous goods accident or incident All level staff in operational level who deal in logistic and transportation of goods for the company such as Freight Forwarders, Shippers, Airline personnel and ground handling agents PROGRAM DATE Mar (PEN), May, Jun, Aug Days RM 2,300 per participant

4 DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATIONS REFRESHER This program revisits the elements learned during the Dangerous Good Regulations courses. ICAO requirements make it mandatory that this program be attended at least every 24months by those who have already completed the Dangerous Goods Regulations course. It is mandatory requirement for all personnel holding a certificate.. METHODOLOGY This program includes classroom lectures, group discussions, video shows, case study and group presentations and other activities to provide high impact learning. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES At the end of this course, participants would be able to list:- Identify the changes in the Regulations Apply the changes correctly Handle outstanding issues of the problems encountered in the handling of Dangerous Goods PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Define dangerous goods Give examples of forbidden, hidden dangerous goods, dangerous goods allowed on passengers and dangerous goods allowed as cargo List the 9 classes dangerous goods List some General Packing Requirements Recognize DG markings and labels Explain storage and loading procedures Apply Emergency Procedures List the main documents involved in the carriage of dangerous goods All level staff in operational level who deal in logistic and transportation of goods for the company such as Freight Forwarders, Shippers, Airline personnel and ground handling agents PROGRAM DATE Mar (PEN), Apr, May, June, Aug Days RM1,200 per participant

6 AIRFREIGHT SKILLS In today s business environment is changing faster than ever and the airfreight industry is no exception. This course will equip new entrants to the airfreight industry with the necessary tools and skills and will upgrade the knowledge of those already in the industry METHODOLOGY This program includes classroom lectures, forums and other activities to provide high impact learning. This course is conducted in a friendly but firm environment using various modern training aids through lectures, discussions, case study and written exercises. 7 HUMAN FACTOR IN AIRLINE INDUSTRY Human Factors delivers mitigation strategies to assist the best working environment for people and systems, and therefore a reduction in accidents, injuries or incidents. In this course, participants will learn how human factors encompass all those factors that can influence people and their behaviour. In a work context, human factors are the environmental, organizational and job factors, and individual characteristics which influence behaviour at work..
