2 T he OES, Organization for Excellence in Health, has many reasons to celebrate the 2016 Forum: it has been 25 years since we started activities as a Hospital Management Center - CGH, growing stronger and more committed with our mission of supporting the management and quality in the health sector. Throughout these years we have understood that the health sector must play an important role of leadership and responsibility in order to become a promoter of social and economic development for the country. Complex systems in the sector, the constant advances in technology, the impact of the different communication channels, the increased involvement of the community and the constant changes in the epidemiological profile, all lead to the constant search for new methods and techniques to achieve sustainability. That is the reason that the "Quality for sustainability in healthcare is the theme we have chosen for the 25th International Forum OES The Organization for Excellence in Health, in their 25 years of existence, has firmly believed that the quality of health care is the emphasis that every health entity must have. The entity s ability to be maintained over time, using all resources in an adequately, efficiently and responsible manner and the way to achieve a balance between the economic, social and environmental aspects, become requirements for their continued existence in the long term; therefore it is of paramount importance to remain working on processes for continuous improvement. That path towards sustainability is an opportunity to change the way the services are promoted and the innovation of products. It is also an opportunity to evaluate clinical performance, to develop new strategies for improvement, to grow faster than the competition, to achieve differentiated value and to work with safe processes and reliable organizations. All with the final aim of having satisfied patients, desirable and expected quality healthcare results and evidently healthy, competitive and forward-thinking organizations. The health system must provide quality services, fair in a framework of sustainability, where the user is the focus of all efforts Forum, will have the participation of renowned experts from ISQua (International Society for Quality in Healthcare), the global organization involved in the accreditation of health care facilities worldwide. Attendees will interact with national and international speakers in the different areas of the event, who will have the opportunity to show the audience the strategies, tools and successful experiences that exist around this subject. We had the participation of more than 500 people in recent forums held by the OES, so it is a perfect space to share experiences, learn from other organizations and inspire others. The OES strongly believes firstly, in the need for a more pluralistic and cooperative approach of all stakeholders in the health system, secondly, in the need to unite the health sector around the improvement of the health of the general population and thirdly, in the need for training and encouragement of all participants to be actively involved in shaping the future of health care. The event, as in previous years, will include presentations by experts on the core issues, sessions that aim to show experiences of national and international entities, workshops to apply the new methodologies and techniques shown, group sessions with common interest, (students, managers of organizations, health consultants) and sessions for reflection, which attendees can choose according to their field of interest.
