Under this item, Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment required for constructing structural modification of existing stop logs and constructing new fiberglass weir plate as shown on Contract Drawing 540-S IOO l and 042-S-5012 and as specified in Contract Specifications. B. Payment for this item shall be made at a lump sum bid price upon completion and acceptance of work completed. Furthermore, payment for these items will be paid for in prorated portions of the lump sum bid price based on the percentage of work completed within the billing period in the approved Schedule of Values and as accepted by the City Representative." Section , page 18, Bid Item 42: ADD new Bid Item 42 as follows: "BID ITEM 42: CASH ALLOWANCE FOR SEP 540 ISOLATION A. A Cash Allowance of the amount listed in Section is available to be paid for Under this item, for all work required to achieve the isolation of the SEP 540 6' x 12' outfall. Work under this allowance includes furnishing and installing a temporary bulkhead at the face of the outfall at Islais Creek, furnishing and installing dewatering pumps, sand bags and building a temporary coffer dam at the face of the 6'xl2' outfall." Contractor will need to connect post chlorination pumps to the existing temporary sampling analyzers located at SEP 521 with temporary piping."
