Modifications are needed at the discus throw pad to comply with current high school track and field event regulations. AR-SI-13 FOOTBALL GOAL POST UPGRADE New football goal posts needed to replace existing posts that are no longer stable. AR-SI-14 FOOTBALL/SOCCER SYNTHETIC TURF UPGRADE New synthetic turf needed at the football / soccer field to replace existing turf that is worn and past its life expectancy. AR-SI-15 IRRIGATION SYSTEM UPGRADE Connection of irrigation system to the school s energy management system will reduce water consumption and utility costs. Additional parking stalls are needed for disabled individuals and to meet ADA requirements. AR-SI-33 BASEBALL & SOFTBALL INFIELD CLAYBLOCK Installation of clay block soil material at pitcher s mound and home plate areas will improve drainage and reduce maintenance. AR-SI-34 STUDENT PARKING ENTRY DRIVE IMPROVEMENT Installation of a left-turn exit lane is needed at the student parking lot for improved safety and traffic flow. AR-SI-36 SOFTBALL FIELD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Underground drainage system is needed at the softball field to eliminate ponding water and saturated field conditions. AR-SI-37 TRACK & FIELD EVENT REPLACEMENT New rubberized surface needed at track and field event areas to replace surface that is worn and has seam and adhesion failures. New exterior door locks will improve building security. AR-EX-05 EXTERIOR DOOR REPLACEMENT New exterior doors needed at entrance to Gym lobby to replace doors that are in poor condition from heavy use. AR-EX-09 MASONRY WATER REPELLENT APPLICATION Water repellent needed at exterior masonry walls to protect walls from moisture penetration. AR-IN-18 THEATER DISABLED SEATING SIGNAGE ADDITION Signage needed to identify seats in Theater that are accessible to disabled individuals and to meet ADA requirements. Computer furniture is needed to properly accommodate students and computer equipment. AR-EQ-06 FOODS CLASSROOM EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT New appliances needed in Foods classroom to replace equipment that does not operate reliably. AR-EQ-07 GYMNASTICS SPRING FLOOR UPGRADE New gymnastics spring floor is needed in the Gym to replace the existing spring floor that is old and unsafe to assemble. AR-EQ-08 KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT New convection ovens and reach-in coolers needed to replace equipment that does not operate reliably. AR-EQ-12 MAIN GYM BLEACHER REPLACEMENT New bleachers needed in Main Gym to replace existing bleachers that frequently malfunction and are difficult to maintain. New chairs and desks needed in some classrooms to replace existing furniture that is damaged or broken. AR-EQ-23 PROJECTION SCREEN ADDITION - COMMONS Installation of a large, motorized projection screen in the Commons is needed for assemblies, meetings and conferences. AR-ME-01 AHU VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE REPLACEMENT New variable speed drives are needed at air handling units to replace equipment that is failing and unreliable. AR-ME-02 AUTOMATIC CONTROLS UPGRADE Improvements to mechanical system controls will reduce maintenance costs, energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-07 COMPUTER CLASSROOM HEAT PUMP ADDITION Installation of heat pumps for rooms 801 & 803 will eliminate overheating and reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-08 CONSTRUCTION / MANUFACTURING DUST FILTRATION Installation of dust control system in the shop area will reduce exhaust fan use, energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-09 DISHWASHER BOOSTER HEATER REPLACEMENT Installation of a new booster heater for the Kitchen dishwasher will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-11 FIRE SPRINKLER HEAD REPLACEMENT New fire sprinkler heads needed throughout school to replace sprinkler heads that have been recalled because of defects. AR-ME-15 HEATING WATER SYSTEM CONTROL VALVE New control valves needed for heating water system to replace equipment that does not operate reliably. AR-ME-17 HVAC CONTROL SYSTEM COMMISSIONING Commissioning of mechanical systems will improve operations while reducing energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-19 KILN EXHAUST SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS Modifications to the kiln exhaust system will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AR-ME-29 VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE RETROFIT - SCIENCE AREA Installation of variable speed drives at science area mechanical equipment will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AR-EL-22 TELECOMMUNICATIONS ROOM IMPROVEMENTS Additional electrical capacity and equipment racks needed to accommodate the school s computer infrastructure equipment. AR-EL-26 SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADES New sound system equipment needed in Commons and Gyms to replace equipment that is unreliable and has poor sound quality. Installation of an audible alarm feature for the existing intrusion alarm system will discourage unauthorized entry into the building. AR-MD-07 CONSTRUCTION / MANUFACTURING WALL REMOVAL Removal of wall between the Const. / Manufacturing shop and classroom areas will improve classroom control and supervision. AR-MD-08 DARKROOM MODERNIZATION Conversion of chemical processing darkroom to digital photography lab will better accommodate the instructional program. AR-MD-09 DRAMA OFFICE ADDITION An office is needed in the Drama classroom to provide a secure area for the instructor s equipment and records. AR-MD-27 SCIENCE CLASSROOM MODERNIZATION AR-MD-42 VIDEO LAB INTERIOR WINDOW ADDITION Conversion of general classroom 710 to a science classroom is needed to meet the demand for science instruction.
