AL-EQ-08 ADA SIGNAGE UPGRADE New room signs needed in selected area to replace existing signs that do not meet ADA requirements. AL-EQ-10 PLAYSHED BASKETBALL BACKBOARD UPGRADE Additional basketball backboards in playshed needed for recess and community use. CONTROL ADDITION Installation of occupancy sensors for the heating system in Gym and Library will reduce energy consumption and utility costs. 5 AL-ME-10 ROOFTOP AIR HANDLING UNIT REPLACEMENT AL-ME-11 TESTING, AIR BALANCING, AND COMMISSIONING New air handing units needed to replace existing units that do not function reliably, leak water and require frequent maintenance. Testing and commissioning of mechanical system will improve operations while reducing energy consumption and utility costs. AL-ME-12 WASTE LINE IMPROVEMENTS New sewage waste lines needed to replace existing lines located below the concrete floor that are failing, settling and drain poorly. AL-ME-14 DOMESTIC WATER TANK REPLACEMENT New domestic hot water tanks needed to replace existing water tanks that are failing and cause rust colored water. AL-EL-04 DAYLIGHT CONTROL ADDITION Installation of daylight controls that reduce the use of artificial lighting will also reduce energy consumption and utility costs. AL-MD-26 STUDENT RESTROOM IMPROVEMENTS EAST WING New toilets and vertical grab bars needed at student restrooms 401 and 402 to assist the disabled and meet ADA requirements.
