1 JOB SCRIPTION JOB TITL: Lead Water Hygiene Technician PARTMNT/FUNCTION: Operations BAS/ARA: Nationwide RSPONSIBL TO: Operations Manager BAN/LVL: PWS 2 1. JOB PURPOS: Pennon Water Services (PWS) is the water retailer for non-household customers of Bournemouth Water and South West Water. PWS incorporates Aquacare, a water hygiene specialist to offer our customers Value Added Services (VAS) making PWS stand out from competitors in the market. PWS is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated staff member to work in their Retail Service Centre which is based in Bournemouth. The role of a Lead Water Hygiene Technician is to contribute to provide a professional water hygiene service to all clients of PWS, helping to build and enhance the business reputation. The scope of this role is field based working alongside trainee and less experienced technicians to help develop their skills to become a fully competent Water Hygiene Technician. 2. COR UTIS & KY RSPONSIBILITIS: ay to day running of key accounts across multiple sites as assigned ay to day communications with Clients and to escalate all/any concerns with the Aquacare Contract Supervisor Work unsupervised to overcome day to day challenges to get the work done Work alongside the Aquacare Administrators and Contract Supervisor to allocate and deliver work to a high standard in line with SLA s Assist Contract Supervisor with quotation requests from Clients Monitor, measure and report on all aspects of key contracts and to provide the Contract Supervisor with an up to date accurate compliance report at the beginning of each month Responsible for the development of Trainees and Water Hygiene Technicians through on-site mentoring and technical support Identify new opportunities for growth within key contracts Promote a positive attitude and enthusiasm about the Company and the job role while actively promoting, where possible, all PWS products and services Ability to discuss technical issues with confidence and accurately record areas of risk/non-conformance with the Contract Supervisor Quality Control Responsible for sampling and keeping records on customers properties and sites Undertake site surveys (once trained) of clients properties and produce reports, estimates and quotations Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting hot and cold water systems, cisterns and cooling towers Complete all administrative work associated with departmental management requirements Assist and provide support to other team members, where necessary 2

3 Understand, comply and carry out water hygiene function in accordance with company policies and procedures Attend and fully participate in regular mandatory and ad-hoc training and reviews ffectively communicate with customers to explain work carried out and any continuous work that may be required scalate any concerns or issues with allocated jobs to prioritise or re-schedule work Maintain accurate records of work and monitoring carried out stablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, peers, internal and external customers ensuring exceptional customer service standards are achieved Undertake additional duties as required 3
