Facts & Figures FMX is an event by Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, organized by the Animationsinstitut. Together with the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS), FMX hosts the Animation Production Day (APD). It is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry for Economic Aff airs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Württemberg, and the MFG Funding. FMX is an event in cooperation with VES Visual Eff ects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH and the World Building Institute. 5 Marketplace The Marketplace complements the conference program with an exhibitor area for hardware, software and services as well as research projects, start-ups and exhibits. Here, an international audience of professionals and students come to learn about the latest products and developments. The Marketplace is both a professional fair and a meeting space for the industry and community. Furthermore, FMX interdisciplinary character allows you to address potential target groups of neighboring industries as well as early adopters and future users. 6 Recruiting The Recruiting Hub is the international job fair at FMX where animation, VFX and games studios, production companies and agencies connect with a large crowd of aspiring creative talents. A Recruiting Presentation is the perfect supplement to a booth in the Recruiting Hub.
