1 STEVENSON HOCKEY AD BOOK SALES Dear Stevenon Hockey Players: Each year at the Thanksgiving Tournament, the Stevenson Hockey Team hands out an ad book to all attendees. The purpose of this book is to give players a chance to raise money by selling ads to reduce the cost of hockey along with highlighting our Stevenson Hockey players/program. Attached are the documents you need to sell ads for the ad book including a vendor introduction letter, price sheet and advertiser s agreement. All of these documents will also be provided electronically. Ads are protected as long as you are a Stevenson Hockey player. A list of the protected ads is attached and we ask that you do NOT solicit ads from anyone on the list unless it is your ad. In addition, the ad book highlights our Stevenson players. Each parent can post an ad for their player. Seniors get a free full page black and white ad, while all other players get a 1/4. At the very least find, we suggest finding a nice shot of your son and adding a caption using any photo editing program that allows text to be added. Last year a lot of parents actually did it right from their phone. Don't worry about getting the size exactly right. I can work with resizing and getting it to fit. Any file format should work... jpg, pdf, etc. All ads can be submitted to: stevensonhockeyadbook@yahoo.com. Please submit a player ad regardless of whether or not you participate in ad sales. One of our major fundraisers is the annual yearbook, where ad space is sold to local businesses. Positive outcomes related to your participation: 1. Hockey is an expensive sport! Although Stevenson High School has been tremendous with regard to financial contributions, the remaining costs to be covered by students can be prohibitive. Your support helps keep fees in a range which makes the great sport of hockey accessible. The experiences provided by the sport, cultivates a positive transition of students into adults. 2. Low cost advertising The positive return on investment resulting from the patronage of Stevenson students / families and Thanksgiving Tournament participants Yearbooks will be published. 3. Distribution of the yearbook will start during the Thanksgiving Tournament which is held at the Twin Rinks Ice Arena in Buffalo Grove. We host 12+ area High School Varsity teams and 12+ Junior Varsity Teams (approximately 480 players and approximately 1000 friends and family attend the tournament). They will be directed to your establishments! 4. Yearbooks are a Keepsake and will last many, many years to come! Your generosity will be displayed again and again. Ad space cost ranges from $35.00 to $ (detailed pricing attached). Ads include business card, ¼, ½ or a full page, with the back cover and inside covers as premium color pages. In addition to the yearbook we also have a limited number of banner ads available for purchase for our website Our website is frequently visited for news, schedules, game results, and stats.
