Summary f duties Rle Purpse: T prvide administrative and prject supprt t IT Prtfli Management Office (PMO) Key tasks: This is nt intended as an exhaustive list f duties r a restrictive definitin f the pst but represents a guide t the main pririties and typical areas f activity f the pst-hlder. These activities are subject t amendment ver time as pririties and requirements evlve. Supprting the PMO Team with traditinal PMO supprt duties, including but nt limited t: Setting up meetings, prducing meeting papers, facilitating/attending meetings, taking ntes/actins and prgressing/tracking actins t cmpletin Maintaining dcuments and libraries n SharePint and basic SharePint administratin Supprting prductin f prject financial reprts using Excel Prductin and cllatin f artefacts t supprt SDLC and Prject Gvernance Prvides administrative and secretariat services t all PMO Activity Mnitring, replying and fllwing up n any actins in the PMO shared mailbx Setting up f new prject cdes n Harvest as required Setting up f new prject files and dcument repsitries using standard templates and guidelines. Supprt any ad-hc duties where required. 3. Persn specificatin Requirements (E = Essential/ D = Desirable) Essential Knwledge and Experience Experience f wrking in a busy ffice (Prtfli r Prject Office preferable) Evidence f develping and maintaining gd and effective relatinships with internal and external business partners Experience f wrking in a busy and effective team with a fast pace f change Understanding f business drivers, pressures and value Cnfident in use f Wrd, PwerPint and SharePint Advanced experience f using Excel as a reprting and analysis tl (This will be tested at interview) Slid and unbrken ffice experience (1 year+) Experience f crdinating and delivering n multiple tasks, cmmunicating with all levels f staff within the IT unit. As well as these cst drivers, the entry f mre private prviders t the sectr and the increasing cnsumer pwer f high fee-paying students will put a premium n service delivery and cst efficiency. In turn, this will thrw emphasis n the develpment f rbust, efficient, enterprise-scale IT systems t increase efficiency and custmer chice. Infrmatin Technlgy prvides and supprts all central University IT services and is respnsible fr the institutin's Technical Infrastructure. In additin t this service and supprt prvisin, IT develps systems t supprt the business requirements f the rganisatin. IT Crprate Services IT Crprate Services is a crss-functinal, nn-technical supprt team fr IT. The team strengthens and supprts all areas f IT and ur fcus is n gvernance, supprt, cllabratin and quality f service. The main areas f fcus fr Crprate Service are: Prject Supprt, Finance & HR, Cmmercial, Cmmunicatins and Executive Team Supprt.
