Objectives The Cmmunicatins Officer will play a key rle in helping Active Fusin grw its prfile and increase engagement with a wide range f audiences thrugh frward-thinking, impactful and integrated marketing and cmmunicatin campaigns. This rle leads n the creatin, curatin, integratin, and scheduling f all marketing cntent, bth internal and external, against business bjectives. The scpe includes cntent acrss all platfrms and frmats t drive psitive custmer/audience engagement including the develpment and prductin f digital and print resurces, scial media, digital cmmunicatins, cpywriting, events and web cntent. The rle will enhance cllabratin f marketing activities with clleagues, partners, and funders. Increase engagement with ur audiences and key stakehlders t cmmunicate ur messages arund impact, fundraising, and pprtunities t get invlved. Use insight t imprve the depth and breadth f ur audiences and t extend ur reach. Drive ftfall t ur schl and cmmunity-based prgrammes and events. Prduce ffline resurces including ur brchure f services. Use yur creative and expert cmmunicatins skills t develp engaging cntent including cpy fr bth nline and ffline channels. Wrk with the wider team t manage data and manipulate it fr research and audience develpment purpses. Prepare cmprehensive marketing perfrmance reprts fr a range f audiences such as ur senir team, bard, funders, and partners. Ensure clleagues are kept up-t-date with the cmmunicatins planner and prvide supprt t clleagues wh need t use marketing tls in their day t day wrk. 4

Create an engaging and well-written regular e-newsletter gathering cntent frm acrss the Active Fusin team & wider netwrk in a timely manner and with a cmpelling call t actin. Ensure ur website is up-t-date and fully ptimised with relevant cntent t drive traffic and enhance the user experience. Mnitr the perfrmance ur website and use frward thinking cmmunicatin techniques t generate nline dnatins, participatin in ur prgrammes. Ensure infrmatin abut Active Fusin held n external websites, such as partner wesbites, is accurate, n brand and reflects ur cmmunicatins strategy. PR, media, and events Wrk with clleagues n the rganisatin f Active Fusin events, such as cmpetitins r majr sprts events, and crdinate ur presence at external events. Prvide practive and respnsive media relatins activity by frging excellent relatinships with lcal, reginal and, where relevant, natinal media cntacts. Wrk cllabratively with the wider team t identify press pprtunities and create well-written press releases t pitch t relevant media cntacts. Excellent written and verbal cmmunicatins skills and the ability t authr, curate and edit cntent with fluidity, speed and flexibility t ensure it is high quality, and relevant t the audience.
