1 ADDENDUM TO RFP DOCUMENTS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: Terramar Park Multi-Use Fields Project ADDENDUM NO. 1 DATE: 11/29/2017 To All Potential Proposers: This addendum is issued to modify the previously issued RFP documents and/or given for informational purposes, and is hereby made a part of the proposal documents. Please attach this addendum to the documents in your possession. Per the RFP, the proposer MUST acknowledge receipt of any and all addenda, if any, listing the Addenda by number(s) and date(s) in their RFP documents. Specification Changes: 26. CONTRACT TIME 26.1 The work to be performed under the Contract shall be commenced within 15 consecutive calendar days form the issuance of a Notice to Proceed The number of days, which the work is to be substantially completed, is 60 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Subsequent to Final Completion, there will be a Sodding Assurance Period of 45 consecutive calendar days. Acceptance of all work will be completed within a total of 135 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Drawing Changes: Sheet No. LA-3 and Sheet No. SP-1 Supplemental Information: Geotechnical Report Deadline for Proposals: December 15th, 2:00 PM

2 Questions and Answers: Q1: At the time of installation, if the sod is not available locally, and costs are incurred to bring it in form out of state, who is going to be responsible? Is the City willing to change the type of sod? A1: Contractor to bid as currently shown in bid documents (Tiffway 419). The awarded contractor would request an approved equal after contract award, if the specified sod were not available locally. Q2: Does the time and duration of the project include days for the turf to take? A2: Please see above specifications changes: Contract Time. Q3: Can you clarify what you mean by suitable fill? A3: Please, refer to Part 2.1 Embankment of Section Earthwork in the Technical Specification for suitable material. Also, refer to Part 1.7 Submittals (line A) of Section Excavation and Backfilling for Utilities for sample requirements for off-site fill material if needed. Q4: I walked the site by the tennis courts, and there s a large line of weeds growing through the walkway. Will this have to be ripped out and replaced? A4: No, the Contractor is to bid resurfacing the existing asphalt walkway square footage only. Q5: Should the netting be included over the 8-foot fence? A5: The Contractor is to include the demolition of the netting over the eight foot fence to be included as part of the demolition.
