Receipt for this Addendum must be acknowledged by the Bidder by statement of receipt indicated on the Proposal Form. SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Refer to Advertisement for Bids, and revise the Bid Date from Wednesday, June 22, 2016 to Wednesday July 13 at 3:00 PM CST. The place for the Bid Proposal will remain as originally stated. 2. Refer to the attached Minutes for the Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, June 8, Refer to the attached Sign-in Sheet for the Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, June 8, Also, please note that B.L. Harbert did not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and therefore, will be removed from the list of prequalified bidders. Bid Opening will be changed by Addendum 1 to Wednesday June 29, 2016 at 3:00 PM: Hoover City Hall: 100 Municipal Lane in Council Chambers **Following the meeting a revised bid date of 7/13 was communicated. 4 Project Overview / Brief Design Presentation 5 Bid Package Scope of Work All Event Center work not included in PEMB package and Site/Foundation Package Any rock encountered outside the established rock free zone Pay particular attention to Bid Package 1C Scope of Work Document in Specifications o Items provided by owner: builder s risk insurance, materials testing, sewer impact fees o Items provided by 1A contractor: Pre-engineered metal building o Items provided by 1B contractor: Rough grade, PEMB foundations, Event floor slab and underslab electrical raceways / boxes PAGE 1 OF 4

3 6 Bid Submission Requirements Proposal form included in Project Manual. o Unit prices for quantity allowances must be completed Bid bond on project specific form provided. 5% NTE $10,000 Submit in sealed envelopes. See Instructions to Bidders for requirement for envelope labeling and envelope pricing adjustments. Apparent low bidder must submit sub list, preliminary schedule of values, and Accounting of Sales & Use Tax Form within 24 hours. 7 Front end documents Division 0 and Division 1 specifications should be read thoroughly by all contractors and subcontractors. Documents are based on standard ABC documents but there are modifications. 8 Alternates and Unit Prices Alternate 1: Event Floor Acoustical Panels Alternate 2: Retractable Bleachers See Bid Package Scope of Work for description of quantity allowances to be included in the base bid at the unit prices proposed on the bid form. Unit prices apply for additive or deductive changes. 9 Bid Package / Project Schedule Requirements See Attachment C schedule Liquidated damages: $3,000 / day.
