In-basket assignments: These are cmprised f real-life situatins where the candidate is asked t use his/her judgment t slve everyday dilemmas in a 1 3 page written respnse. Mck interviews: Students will practice interviewing techniques in mck interviews fr administrative psitins. Online research: Students will research plicies and laws related t student and staff cnfidentiality Cperative/cllabrative grups: Plan an inservice n sme aspect f the research tpic Cnfidentiality including a Pwer Pint presentatin which will be ed t the instructr. Related Prjects: *Review and critique the district s plicies and prcedures fr affirmative actin, including analysis f hiring practices and staff cmpsitin. *Review the district s teacher evaluatin plicy, prcedures and practices, and critiques in relatin t its implementatin fr imprving/supervising persnnel. * Cmpare and cntrast the district s certificated and classified persnnel. *Summarize in writing the schl district s recruitment and assignment plicies and practices, drawing frm written district publicatins and interviews with district and site administratrs. *Study the cncept f nn-cnfrntive negtiatins (win-win, mutual interest, etc.) and discuss prs and cns fr use in the lcal district with yur district s persnnel administratr and present the findings t yur schl principal * Utilize technlgy data bases t analyze staffing fr past, present and future district/schl needs. * Suggested Field Experience Prtfli Artifact *Assessment Plan The attached rubric shuld be cmpleted fr each student in each class.
