Key Result Area 1 Undertake a range of activities for the general upkeep and tidiness of the facility including general ground care such as sweeping, watering gardens and garbage removal. Undertake maintenance of the facility including identifying any breakages or necessary upgrades and improvements and notify the Site Manager Perform other tasks as directed by the Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site. Attend and participate in a range of Mission Australia meetings in order to remain up to date on program and site changes. Maintenance Job Holder is successful when Stuart Lodge is kept in a tidy and clean fashion. Minor maintenance requests are actioned as appropriate. page 2

3 Key Result Area 2 Maintain full availability at night for urgent safety or maintenance requests from residents. Preparing reports as required by Site Manager and complete other tasks as directed to ensure the smooth operation of Stuart Lodge. Respond to any resident crisis through engaging appropriate external or internal support services. Ensure that the site security system is opened and closed as required at all times. Maintain ongoing accurate knowledge of safety procedures and fire drill protocols and ensure that these are appropriately followed in times of emergency. Covey any safety issues to the Site Manager for actioning. Any other duties as directed Site Safety Job Holder is successful when Urgent maintenance and safety requests are auctioned in an appropriate and timely manner. Required reports are prepared and other tasks are completed in an appropriate and timely manner. Crisis s are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner. The site security system is operational when required. Safety knowledge is maintained and appropriate emergency response is demonstrated when necessary. The Site Manager is made aware of any site safety issues as they arise and appropriate response is sought. page 3

5 Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in similar position. Current Driver Licence. Satisfactory criminal record check. Current Ochre card or ability to receive clearance.
