Don Janezic, CFO Bigelow Tea will discuss captive insurance for the midmarket company with a unique and sustainable process. This presentation will explore the differences between the traditional annual budget and forecast versus the trendy Rolling forecast, it will expose the audience to the pros and cons of such methodologies and nuance the Manichean tendency to rule the traditional budgeting process as totally irrelevant. Finally, it will explain how to avoid traps in implementing rolling forecast using real life examples and testimonies of people that undertook such changes in their companies. Rick Gilbert is the Director, Compliance and Regulatory for Velcro Group Corporation (VGC), where he oversees global environmental, health and safety (EHS), ethics and integrity, and product regulatory compliance. Before joining VGC, Rick worked in the recycling industry and as a partner in several Boston law firms. He is a graduate of Colby College and Northeastern University School of Law. Rick is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and a certified auditor for ISO14001 and Responsible Recycling (R2) management systems. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
