1 Psitin Title Team Infrmatin Technlgy Integratin / ETL Develper Infrmatin Technlgy Psitin Objective Develp, supprt and assist rbust applicatin integratin, data exchange, data extractin, and data lading. This will invlve wrking clsely with a key internal business and external vendr resurces t gain an understanding f all Western Waters applicatins, t build knwledge f the platfrms and dcument knwledge/techniques/prcesses and prcedures where apprpriate. Diagnse, prblem slve and prvide recmmended slutins t fix cding, integratin and data exchange prblems, with autnmy and limited versight. T prvide all aspects f sftware develpment and integratin supprt, t Western using cntemprary sftware develpment tls, techniques used by Western Water. Supprt and maintain existing integratin, n Western Waters database platfrms including Oracle, Micrsft SQL Server, and assciated tls and tl sets. This is expected t require significant inspectin f the existing cde (C#, Java, VB) embedded within the applicatin and making the necessary changes where required t address syntactical and lgical issues as they arise. Prvide nging applicatin supprt, assist with future platfrm upgrades and design, cde and cnfigure future applicatin extensins/enhancements. Design, Cde, Cnfigure, implement ther sftware and integratin slutins as required. Develp scripts t schedule jbs batch jbs Develp scripts t transfer data between systems Develp callable prcedures in SQL, Oracle, VB.Net r C#, r Java using any array f tls and tl sets n either Micrsft r Unix platfrms, t develp integratin read write, r bth end-pints. Identify business imprvements and drive change t deliver n-ging business efficiency and perfrmance. Knwledge and skills with Micrsft Transact-SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL. Perfrmance tuning SQL queries is als required and knwledge best practise f DBA skills are preferable nt required. Knwledge and skill in extracting, transfrming and lading data frm and t a variety f systems and endpints, including database-t-database, database-t-webservice, database-t-api, database-t-rpc, database-t-script, database-t-delimited file, ne database vendr t anther database vendr, and vice versa in all cases. Knwledge and skills with sftware cnfiguratin tlkits such as thse used by packaged applicatins t extend and cnfigure packaged sftware slutins. Knwledge and skills with Java particularly in relatin t server-side cde, and the ability t understand and mdify existing Java-based cde that is part f a cnfigured sftware package. Knwledge and skills with Micrsft Databases including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS, Crystal Reprts, and the ability t create and mdify reprts using these design tls. Knwledge and skills with the Micrsft.Net technlgies including Visual Basic, C#, J# and ther assciated prgramming languages. Client-side data entry validatin and basic screen field validatin and ability t wrk with existing API and Web service integratin pints. 4 Knwledge and skills in win32/64 Windws API call structures including making and receiving calls frm RPCs, DLLs, APIs, web services and ther cntemprary call structures. Knwledge in Windws PwerShell, C/Wscript, Unix/Linux scripting in sh, csh, bash and ther perating system scripted interpreted languages. Management Skills Set yur wn pririties, rganize and crdinate yur wn wrklad aligning t business pririties and respnd quickly and effectively t day t day matters. Crdinate and administer envirnments t meet business needs, managing time and 3rd party cnsultants effectively t meet budget, prgram and quality requirements.
