2 Job description Job title: Assessment Co-ordinator Grade: 3 ivision: Reporting to: Main contacts: ducation and evelopment Assessment Production Manager Internal: Product evelopment (Qualification development managers and Assessment design manager), Customer services, other sections of the Assessment team. xternal: Subject matter experts (including chief technical editorleads, assessment writers, moderators and scrutineers), assessment software providers (BTL) Major objectives Contribute to the achievement of the AAT Business Plan objectives, and to the efficiency and effectiveness of the ducation and evelopment ivision by: elivering new assessments to agreed quality, processes and targets, to meet internal and external requirements, including those of the regulatory bodies, Maintaining existing assessments to agreed quality, processes and targets, to meet internal and external requirements, including those of the regulatory bodies, Contributing to the continuous improvement of assessment development processes and practices. Responsibilities Assessment production Assist in setting delivery schedules for assigned assessment materials. Assist in the training of SMs on use of the assessment production software (ContentProducer) and agreed production processes, including the application of assessment principles and house style. Manage the work of the assessment writing teams in the production of assigned assessment material to ensure timely, complete and accurate delivery, in accordance with agreed processes. Monitor and appraise the performance of Subject Matter xperts (SMs) for assigned products and report in accordance with agreed processes. dit (copyedit, typeset and proofread) assessment items for the computer-based bank in accordance with agreed processes, ensuring house style and assessment principles are applied. dit (copyedit, typeset and proofread) paper-based assessments in accordance with agreed processes, ensuring house style and assessment principles are applied. 3 Submit for approval items ready to be entered into the assessment bank, in accordance with agreed processes. Identify and make recommendations on changes / improvements to assessments and production processes and practices, as part of a process of lessons learned and continuous improvement. Identify, log and investigate potential assessment incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of internal/external customer queries, in line with the & Incident process. General Attend and contribute to assessment quality assurance meetings. Handle confidential material securely and discreetly. Contribute to the achievement of specified objectives and targets relating to the work of the team. Liaise with assessment software providers as required. Customer centricity Be customer focused, listening to, and putting our customers at the heart of what we do.
