Position purpose The Business Analyst partners with the three teams that make up Business and in doing so assists in implementing, monitoring and reporting on the tactical outputs associated within each strategy. This is achieved through, but not limited to, project scoping, analysing data, campaign segmentation, campaign and event monitoring and reporting. This role will focus on assisting Business to reach annual targets and budget whilst growing brand awareness and end-user reach. B. Business Unit / Departmental Purpose The Business Department upholds a holistic view of Diabetes Victoria s stakeholders, working to develop Diabetes Victoria s relationships with members, customers, donors, partners, sponsors, volunteers and other supporters. The primary function of this Department is to lift stakeholder engagement with Diabetes Victoria s brand and many services to advance our mission to help all Victorians affected by diabetes to live well. The Department is comprised of Fundraising and Partnerships, Membership and Marketing, and Bequest teams. The Department is responsible for driving and generating part of the annual financial surplus for Diabetes Victoria, whilst taking stakeholders on a journey that will see them increase their commitment and contribution to the organisation. C. Key accountabilities KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs) The key measurable outputs or deliverables required of the position. TASKS The main activities required to achieve a KRA. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) The quantitative/qualitative evidence used to measure how well the KRAs have been achieved. 1. Business Analysis Provides sound full cycle BA services to the organisation on a range of systems, technology, processes and frameworks using accredited BA methodology. Works with key stakeholders to educate and inform on BA activities, ensuring all relevant information in captured Utilise Business Analyst skills to identify key diabetes hots spots to assist with membership take up, fundraising revenue generation, Maintain stakeholder satisfaction Provide Business Analytics for the Business team Work with the Data Processing team to manage/operation improvements for the Business team 1x implementation of approved business process management/operation improvement support empower campaign Page 1 of 5

2 confirmed bequestors, major gifts and relevant event locations. Analyse state to improve on campaigns, identify gaps and provide recommendations with regards segmentation, reach and uptake. Work with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive post campaign and event reporting. 2. Business Intelligence Develop and implement BI systems (standard reports, ad-hoc analysis, drill-down reports, reporting models, dashboards, and analytics) Provide reporting or data to enable and improve business decision making, support the delivery of new products & services and ensure regulatory compliance Work closely with key stakeholders to formulate and establish analytical projects based information. 3. Project Management Work with the Business team to develop project management plans, including identifying scope, timeframe and deliverables. Prepare documentation for distribution on schedules, budgets, solutions testing, risk mitigation measures etc Prepare status reports to stakeholders 4. Marketing Strategy Works collaboratively with the Business team on: o Providing input into the execution of the Marketing Strategy and roadmaps for Diabetes Victoria s ongoing Marketing Strategy functions. o Working with the Business team and greater organisation to assist with managing touch points Management and delivery of (12x) monthly Business Balance Scorecard Reporting Post Fundraising analysis and reporting for Tax and Xmas appeals (2x) Projects are delivered on time and on budget Reports are completed in a timely manner Successfully implement the marketing strategy in conjunction with the wider Business team Marketing Strategy evaluation is completed in a timely manner and as required by the Head of Business Ensure the management of Diabetes Victoria Supporter touchpoints across the organisation 5. Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Play a key role in managing Marketing Cloud and maintain a strong relationship with the Salesforce Administrator and the Marketing Cloud Administrator Support all stakeholders on Marketing Cloud queries and issues Analyse data and provide reporting where required Act as the Marketing Cloud champion for the organisation. Work with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure communication of critical information is effective and timely Builds relationships with both internal support empower campaign Page 2 of 5

Position requirements The essential skills, knowledge and experience required of this position Skills 1. Business Analytics (Advanced) 2. Stakeholder Engagement / Vendor Management Knowledge (Qualifications/Certifications/Licenses) 1. Qualification in AGILE or similar business analysis methodology 2. Current Police Check Experience 1. Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud 2. Experience in providing a full suite of BA services to a small to medium sized team 3. Proven experience in working in a collaborative relationship with technical specialist to drive and implement change 4. Experience working in a diverse stakeholder driven environment 5.
