22 Foothill High School Building F Hooper Hall Modernization and Quad Modernization The modernization of Hooper Hall will provide an interactive connection to the public, and opportunity for the campus community to have a unified and shared experience. The modernization will create an environment where events can be staged, and where Foothill High School students can gather informally outside of the classroom, retaining students on campus and encouraging their involvement in student life. The Hall will provide space for varied functions and groups, maintaining a comfortable scale in all arrangements. It will support dining areas, student activities, and presentations. Semi-public functions such as student lounges and meeting spaces will be woven into an open plan. The campus main electrical switchgear in Hooper Hall will be replaced, as will the roof. The expansion of the food service area in the Hall will allow for service to more students simultaneously through an open environment that creates visual and intuitive separation of the private and public areas. The project also includes modernization of the adjacent campus quadrangle. The landscape/hardscape areas adjacent to Hooper Hall will be renovated as part of the project; a thoughtful design response will integrate interior and exterior spaces to allow for programs and activities to flow seamlessly. This modernized quad will promote sustainable environments and awareness of environmental conservation. The project will improve the high school s central courtyard, at the heart of the campus. Building D Computer Labs Modernization Currently, students are seated at built-in workstations for activities, and the room seats fewer students in this configuration. The existing sound system will be supplemented or completely replaced. The project, at its most general description is about acoustical excellence at the stage and audience area of the theater. Improve Entry and Upgrade Safety Measures at Student Parking Lot / Upgrade Landscape and Hardscape The improved entry will provide a meaningful, drought tolerant, low maintenance and inspired environment for the community and students, and offer greater connectivity from this area to the main campus. Upgraded safety measures within the lot will create a facility that considers pedestrians as naturally as it does vehicles. Replace and repair landscape and hardscape in select areas that have become safety and aesthetic issues and need to be improved for pedestrian circulation, vehicular access, and exterior activity areas. The design solutions will consider the natural forms, intuitive wayfinding and exterior use patterns of the campus.

63 Santa Teresa High School Miscellaneous Infrastructure Improvements Upgrade storm drain and various underground and exposed utilities and infrastructure. This project will either mitigate or negate the backflow by installing backwater valves at a storm drain that connects to Canoas Creek. Storm drainage between Buildings 200 and 600 has tree root blockage so piping will be upgraded to prevent root entry. Soccer field flooding issue will be resolved by re-grading, adding fill, or adding new drain inlet. If underground piping is located under pavements to be demolished as part of the Landscape/Hardscape work, it will be assessed and replaced as needed. Conversion of South Basketball Courts to Parking This project will convert the adjacent underutilized basketball courts on the south side of the campus to much needed parking. Phoenix High School New Science Classroom / Restroom Building T-100 and Courtyard This project transforms the existing campus into an innovative and inspiring small high school.
