2 SWARTZ CREEK HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM 1 Dragon Drive, Swartz Creek Site Information / Condition: See site map included. - Site Entrance: Home fans enter from 1 Dragon Drive on the north side of the site. Visiting fans enter from west side of site from parking lot accessed from Cappy Lane. - Parking: Uses existing high school parking lots. - Asphalt Paved Sidewalks: Overall in fair condition. - Site Lighting: Two (2) headed poles located on the north edge of southwest parking lot. - Track: Newer six (6) lane granular rubber surfaced in good condition. Track and event areas should have additional granular rubber material added as needed. - Football Field: Natural grass field in good condition. Should consider re-crowning field in near future. - Home Seating 1600 (20 per seat): Pre-cast concrete risers on steel under structure. Center section of under structure is enclosed with CMU walls and is used for storage. Overall steel structure and pre-cast concrete risers are in good condition, however ramps to seating are not ADA compliant. Aluminum seats vary in widths and need maintenance and in some areas replaced. Also, all railings should be replaced. - Visitors Seating 1400 (20 per seat): Aluminum bleacher units are in poor condition. - Home Fan Entry Gate and Ticket Booths: Entry from Dragon Drive is very steep and is not ADA compliant. - Visitors Entry Gate and Ticket Booths: Small wood structure in fair condition. - Concessions Building: Masonry building with asphalt shingle roof in fair condition. Restroom Building: Masonry building with asphalt shingle roof in fair condition. Restrooms are not ADA compliant. - Landscaping: Generally consists of lawn. 3 Code Deficiencies: - Home entry point/gate not ADA compliant. Grade is too steep. - Ramps to home seating are not ADA compliant. - Restrooms are not ADA compliant. Suggested Facility Upgrades: - Renovate and convert home seating to visitor seating. Renovate press box for visiting team. - Replace visitor seating with new grandstands with new press box for home seating. - Construct new ticket entry gate for new home grandstands. - Construct new concessions, restrooms and team rooms. - Construct retaining wall and flag platform at north end of field. - Expand track to 8 lanes from current 6 lanes. - Install artificial turf on football field. - Replace all fencing with new. Area in front of dumpster should be removed and replaced with deep strength asphalt pavement or concrete paving. - Concrete Sidewalks: Overall in very good condition. Minor replacement is required at the main entry. Building Information: - Number of Stories: One. - Construction Type: Pre-engineered building with masonry walls to 8 feet and metal wall panels above. - Buildings Condition: Exterior and interior condition of building is in very good condition.
