Barnards supprts children whse well being is under threat, by wrking with them, their families and cmmunities and by campaigning fr the rights f children. Barnards was established in Ireland in 1962 and is Irelands leading Children s charity. What des the Shps Netwrk d? Barnards has 7 shps currently and ne central warehuse based in Ballyclin, Dublin 15. The aim f ur netwrk f shps is t sell dnated stck (bth brand new and secndhand) t raise funds which will be used t prvide supprt services t children and families natinwide wh require it. Barnards als run a number f pp up shps thrughut the year at events such as cncerts and exhibitins and we have bridalwear sectins based in ur shps in Dun Laghaire and Carlw. Our shps are based in the fllwing lcatins; Dublin; Dun Laghaire, Clndalkin, Rathmines and Kilbarrack. Outside Dublin; Carlw twn, Wexfrd twn, Crk City What will the Warehuse Supervisr be ding? Barnards is setting up a central srting unit, based in the Ballyclin warehuse. This rle is a newly created rle t versee the srting f stck being delivered t the warehuse. The main respnsibilities f the pst will include verseeing the srting f stck by cmmunity emplyment wrkers and vlunteers and determining which shp is the best place that specific stck shuld be placed t maximise sales fr the shp netwrk. This rle will wrk clsely with the Transprt Supervisr t ensure all Barnards resurces are used efficiently and effectively thus maximising sales fr the charity. Where can I find ut mre?

3 Warehuse Supervisr Jb Descriptin Pst: Lcatin: Respnsible t: Wrks with: Warehuse Supervisr Ballyclin, Dublin with travel as required Gift in Kind Manager Barnards management and staff, the Cmmunity Emplyment Supervisr and staff and vlunteer warehuse staff Jb Purpse T effectively prcess all dnated stck t maximise sales thrugh ur shp netwrk and ensure that shp prfiling f stck is accurate and meets the needs f the shps netwrk. Cre Jb Requirements Manage a team f cmmunity emplyment participants and vlunteers in an effective and mtivated envirnment. Which includes; Rstering and lcatin f Cmmunity Emplyment wrkers. Mnitring and recrding f absences such as sickness and hlidays and mnitring f timekeeping etc. Wrking in partnership with the Cmmunity Emplyment Supervisr t manage, cach and develp scheme participants and addressing any issues that may arise. Liaise with shp management t maximise sales thrugh crrect stck selectin. Identify suitable prducts fr individual shp prfiles. Wrk with Pp Up team t prepare and select suitable high grade prduct fr each event. Train and develp the team in srting, grading and pricing f prducts. Prvide impeccable custmer service t all dnrs n and ff site premises. Liaise with Transprt Supervisr regarding distributin and deliveries f stck. Overall respnsibility fr dnatin administratin and stck delivery values. Liaise with management regarding quality, quantity f stck and van runs.
