Wrk Health Safety & Envirnmental Management All staff supprt the develpment and cntinuatin f a safety culture at HWC, fulfilling requirements f the Wrk Health & Safety Act 2011 (NSW). Emplyment with Hunter Water Crpratin is subject t a preemplyment functinal assessment and drug and alchl testing fr all preferred external applicants. Hunter Water Staff are cmmitted t envirnmental impact minimisatin, and will assess WHS and envirnmental risk f undertaking any activity, reprt WHS and envirnmental incidents immediately, and respnd prmptly t any incident in accrdance with relevant legislative bligatins. Specific respnsibilities and accuntabilities are defined in Hunter Water Crpratin s WHS Management System Manual and Envirnment Management System Manual.

2 Risk & Regulatry All staff ensure cmpliance with relevant legislatin, HWC regulatry requirements, the Cde f Cnduct, Emplyment & Equal Opprtunity, Diversity, Delegated Authrity Manual and ther peple related plicies and prcedures. Rle f the Grup The wrk f the Service Delivery fr Custmers business unit underpins and enhances the Crpratin s ability t deliver n its purpse, values and drivers. Operating 24 hurs a day, seven days a week, the team delivers high quality drinking, wastewater and recycled water services; that meet the needs f custmers in the Lwer Hunter, and cmply with the requirements f Hunter Water s regulatrs. This business unit has a key rle in prtecting public health and the envirnment. Service Delivery fr Custmers is respnsible fr the peratin and maintenance f all Hunter Water assets including; water catchments and dams, water treatment plants, transprt netwrk (reservirs, pipes and pumping systems) and ultimately wastewater treatment plants and dispsal r beneficial re-use f waste streams. The Capability Engineering Grup is respnsible fr the engineering and technical functins necessary (in the rlling zer t tw year hrizn) t enable effective and efficient Service Delivery fr Custmers. While the grup are reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) fcused, their duties include; prvisin f technical supprt; cnduct f investigatins (RCM, FMECA); develpment, ptimisatin, and versight f maintenance prgrams; develpment and/r review f capability prject plans; design reviews and cmmissining as part f Integrated Prject Teams (IPT), delivery f Capability Prjects (typically price path prvisin prjects with cmplex peratinal interfaces), and Asset Capability Infrmatin Management (AOMS, Ellipse, Plans/Drawings/WAC, Manuals, and GIS). Cmprising f maintenance engineering, capability prjects, and asset infrmatin teams, they are the primary supprt fr the Maintenance Delivery Grup and Water and Envirnment Operatins Grups, and have a key rle t play in influencing ther stakehlders. Key interfaces include Finance (Regulatry Plicy), Innvatin & Investment (Water Resilience, Sustainable Wastewater, Assets, Planning, Science, and Infrastructure Delivery), ICT (Operatins, Prjects, Strategy & Gvernance), and Custmer Strategy & Retail Services (Develper Services and Technical Services). In principle, Innvatin & Investment are the interface fr lng-term asset and regulatry/grwth planning (beynd the 2 year hrizn), and the respnsibility fr assets n the custmer side f the cnnectin pint remains with Custmer Strategy & Retail Services, hwever there are sme exceptins t these principles agreed n a case-by-case basis.

3 Overall Rle Purpse The High Vltage Electrical Engineer psitin is primarily respnsible fr prviding the strategy and planning assciated with asset cmpliance, maintenance, renewal and dispsal f high vltage electrical assets. The rle will be respnsible fr ensuring Hunter Water fulfils its bligatins as the respnsible persn fr High Vltage assets under the Electricity (Cnsumer Safety) Act 2004 (NSW) and the Electricity (Cnsumer Safety) Regulatin 2006 (NSW). The psitin will be based at Tmag, Primary duties will be arund the High Vltage Netwrk, and t Lead, Crdinate and Develp Asset Maintenance Plans and Strategies, hwever invlvement in all areas f the business in regard t HV and Capability Engineering issues within the Treatment, Netwrk, Operatins and Reliability will be required. Key Respnsibilities The High Vltage Electrical Engineer will be primarily respnsible fr prviding the strategy and planning assciated with asset cmpliance, maintenance, renewal and dispsal f high vltage electrical assets. The rle will be respnsible fr ensuring Hunter Water fulfils its bligatins as the respnsible persn fr High Vltage assets under the Electricity (Cnsumer Safety) Act 2004 (NSW) and the Electricity (Cnsumer Safety) Regulatin 2006 (NSW).
