2 Psitin Summary Classificatin I Grade: Managers Agreement - Grade 7 Emplyment Status: Permanent Full Time The successful applicant will wrk cperatively in the develpment f YMCA Suth Australia, and the achievement f peratinal excellence f all YMCAs within the state. Wrking with the Chief Executive Officer, he/she will assume respnsibility fr YMCA reputatin, peratinal services and grwth and in s ding will ensure the achievement f YMCA Suth Australia s Visin. Achieving YMCA Suth Australia s Visin will be achieved by develping ur peple t ensure the strngest lcal peratins pssible by building the capacity f ur peratinal leadership with a view t cnslidating a strng, independent and capable team. The General Manager Operatins will ensure that each YMCA is respnsible fr the psitive impact n the YMCA s strategic measures and that all staff act in accrdance with YMCA values, plicies and prcedures. They will ensure that managers and their staff are fcused n cmmunity utcmes, custmer satisfactin, high peratinal perfrmance and creating safe YMCAs. The General Manager - Operatins is respnsible fr ensuring the rganisatin meets peratinal expectatins and targets while drawing frm best practice t achieve perfrmance excellence. The rle is als respnsible fr crdinating the cnsultatin and decisin making prcesses, managing prjects, and develping the peple and culture within the rganisatin.
