2 Nrth Texas Giving Day Cmmunity Engagement Manager Psitin Summary Cmmunities Fundatin f Texas (CFT) believes that where giving thrives, cmmunities thrive, t. T that end, CFT is seeking an experienced cmmunity rganizer and marketing activatin manager t build the spirit and pwer f giving in ur regin by leading the ambassadr and dnr recruitment fr Nrth Texas Giving Day. S/he is respnsible fr leading Nrth Texas Giving Day engagement strategies, utreach plans and prgrams t increase awareness and psitive recgnitin f the event and f CFT. This psitin is respnsible fr cnsistent and chesive messaging t engage the cmmunity at large, t attract spnsrs and t drive the verall number f dnrs and dnatins t supprt the participating nnprfits. The rle will als have a specific fcus n increasing the reach f Nrth Texas Giving Day and CFT t Latins, African Americans and Millennials. S/he will als be the lead fr vlunteer engagement. This persn and the Nrth Texas Giving Day event is critical t advance CFT s verall missin t build thriving cmmunities by serving dnrs and leading key prgrams. Key Respnsibilities Lead Cmmunity Outreach & Relatinship Building fr CFT & Nrth Texas Giving Day Build the #NTxGivingDay mvement by champining brad based, cmmunitywide dnr recruitment fr CFT s Nrth Texas Giving Day frm all zip cdes Lead utreach t cmmunity and neighbrhd grups, elected fficials, city cuncils, chambers f cmmerce, student vlunteers, huses f wrship, PTAs, businesses, etc. Recruit strng base f key ambassadrs wh will mbilize thers Build enthusiasm and versee creatin f grassrts tlkits fr all audiences Lead specific utreach t Latins, African Americans and Millennials Slicit retail utlets, businesses and restaurants t advcate Nrth Texas Giving Day Build relatinships; Authentically represent CFT in the cmmunity; Serve as primary pint f cntact fr cmmunity grups Build knwledge f CFT services and resurces t make apprpriate referrals Integrate CFT messages with all Nrth Texas Giving Day effrts and vice versa Build the spirit and pwer f giving acrss ur cmmunity Manage Integrated Marketing: Champin and execute campaign ideas and graphics fr CFT s Nrth Texas Giving Day. Serve as liaisn with utside agencies t build and execute an integrated plan. Manage CFT s Nrth Texas Giving Day assets including NrthTexasGivingDay.rg, CFT s #NTxGivingDay Blg fr Gd, Nrth Texas Giving Day scial media (Facebk, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), pwerpint decks, presentatins, ambassadr tlkits, and mre Crdinate with marketing manager wh will secure all paid and earned advertising/media and all media spnsrs Supprt cunty & cause specific pitching and all PR utreach Oversee creatin f materials and messages t supprt fundraising effrts and funder/spnsr recruitment Oversee daily management f all #NTxGivingDay scial media channels Oversee materials, cllateral, vide, cmmunicatin fr nsite and ffsite events 2

Integrate verall CFT messages with Nrth Texas Giving Day effrts and vice versa Assist senir directr verall with marketing planning and activities Manage, frecast and set marketing budget; prcess all invices Other duties as assigned and general supprt t senir directr and team as needed fr Nrth Texas Giving Day, Cmmunities Fundatin f Texas r ther wrk. Qualificatins 5 7 years successful experience in cmmunity utreach, marketing and/r cmmunicatins with psitins f increasing respnsibility and accuntability in a gal riented setting. Experience managing and develping peple Experience wrking in a crss functinal, matrixed envirnment t accmplish gals Extensive cnnectins acrss and knwledge f Nrth Texas cmmunity, especially Latin and African American cmmunities Extensive knwledge f the lcal nnprfit sectr Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred Bachelr s degree required; master s degree preferred r equivalent wrk experience. Specific degree in PR/Cmmunicatins, Marketing appreciated. 3
